TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ALL CHARTERS
When accepting a quotation from Calow’s Coaches for a coach charter, you are acknowledging and agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
- Payment: Charters must be paid in full at least two weeks prior to the charter date, unless a credit account has been prearranged.
- Damage & Cleaning Bond: Calow’s Coaches reserves the right to charge a $300 damage and cleaning bond. This bond will be fully refunded upon the conclusion of the charter, provided there is no need for additional cleaning or repairs beyond general wear and tear. If incidents occur, including but not limited to vomiting, excessive litter, dirt, waste, or any damage beyond general wear and tear, the bond will be forfeited to cover the costs.
- Prohibited Alcohol: Bringing any alcohol on board the vehicle is strictly prohibited as it is illegal.
- Passenger Conduct: The chartering party will be held responsible for any damage caused by the conduct or actions of passengers. Additionally, cleaning costs exceeding what is considered acceptable will be charged at a minimum rate of $100.00.
- Refusal of Transport: The driver reserves the right to refuse transportation to individuals under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or those who are likely to disturb other passengers.
- Cleaning Fee: In the event of any person vomiting on seats, carpets, or curtains, a minimum cleaning fee of $200.00 will be charged to the chartering party.
- Additional Fees: Charters that exceed the agreed arrangements or extend beyond the scheduled return time will incur additional fees, charged to the chartering party.
- Driver’s Authority: The coach driver has complete control over the charter and is trained to handle emergency situations. In case of an emergency, please follow the driver’s instructions.
- Unforeseen Circumstances: Calow’s Coaches regularly inspects its vehicles. However, if the charter itinerary is disrupted due to circumstances beyond our control, such as mechanical failure, road closures, accidents, or weather conditions, we will not be held responsible for any resulting losses.
- Vehicle Replacement and Sub-Contractors: Calow’s Coaches reserves the right to replace a vehicle with mechanical issues with a different type of vehicle or engage a sub-contractor to complete the charter. In some cases, a sub-contractor may be engaged without prior notice.
